Geef een docent een iPod cadeau

Een jaar geleden kreeg leerkracht en adjunct-directeur Darren Coates een I-pod met de kerst en inmiddels gebruikt hij dit apparaat binnen zijn onderwijs. Volgens Coates motiveert het gebruik van een i-Pod leerlingen om te leren. In het artikel  Teacher offers interesting alternative vertekt Coates hoe hij de I-pod inzet. Bijvoorbeeld

Next Coates bought a video I-pod for the school and began taping six-minute lessons and broadcasting them at the beginning of class. He starts his lessons this way every Monday and Thursday, giving him the added bonus that he can spend some time in the halls carrying out his vice principal duties at the start of the day. By the time they have reached a solution to the physics problem presented he is there to discuss it and start the lesson for the day.

Het is waarschijnlijk te laat voor dit jaar, maar wat zou er gebeuren als we docenten in Nederland met de Kerst nieuwe technologie cadeau doen?
